In current and previous work roles, the Tandem Road team has gained more than 20 years’ experience in creating effective support resources for organisations like yours. We’ve now teamed up to bring together that experience, and expertise, to offer to you and your organisation.

We’ve seen first-hand how practical, well-crafted support resources can empower children, young people and adults to move forward with more confidence, resilience and hope.

We’ve developed resources for:

  • people of all ages, from pre-schoolers to the elderly

  • people trying to cope with some of the toughest life challenges, including relationship break up, illness, mental illness and addiction, bereavement, suicide and traumatic events

  • specific groups, such as bereaved parents, disaster-affected communities, struggling youth, anxious children, adults with anger issues, and stressed-out caregivers

  • organisations large and small, from community groups to government agencies.

We’ve also:

  • run focus groups to assess and understand the needs of target audiences

  • worked on national advisory groups tackling men’s mental health, youth wellbeing, and suicide ( prevention, bereavement and postvention)

  • in past roles, developed a wide range of resources for Skylight that are still sold widely, with some being used for post-disaster psychosocial support by the New Zealand and Australian governments. In 2011 one of those resources, an earthquake response publication, won a New Zealand Health and Safety Award for Skylight.
